    Having burst on to the NY art scene at the ripe age of 23 back in the 50s, Frank Stella remains one of the most important living artists in the United States. The Whitney presents a retrospective of Stella’s work, featuring around 120 pieces varying from paintings, sculpture to reliefs; the exhibition spans across the museum’s entire fifth floor.     The hip happening hotel in L.A.’s Koreatown has opened a new set of five garden suites. Mixing 60s plush with 70s graphics, the rooms are a nostalgic kaleidoscope of shag rugs and wallpapers, all housed within the hotel’s iconic modernist tower block on Wilshire.
