Thai-based architects Openbox have created a part-architecture, part-landscape residential project in Bangkok. Called “Marble House” its sculptural form uses material and space to create a seamless flow between inside and out.
The white marble cladding is perfect for shielding the house from the high summer heat of Thailand’s inner city summers. And the huge rain tree offers shade over the swimming pool outside.
Cube-shaped with an open courtyard in the centre, the structure allows for plenty of natural light and ventilation throughout the interiors.
