Last week, Samuel Ross presented his first collection at London Fashion Week. The British 25-year-old artist and designer launched his brand, A-Cold-Wall* after stints working with Virgil Abloh, Hood by Air and Stüssy. Talking candidly on camera in the first episode of IN_SIGHT – a new documentary series from Amuse contributor, Tom Winslade, and Jordan Green – Ross talks about going from crashing on sofas to having two huge London studios in just 18 months.

“It’s not an art project anymore. It’s more like how do you make this living, breathing design mission statement into a viable business – and stabilising that,” Ross says from his north London apartment.

In the four minute film, Ross discusses the new Polythene Optics collection, which he says will focus on the current streetwear elements of his line and allow A-Cold-Wall* to become the more “avant-garde label it needs to become – and is destined to be.”
