Step into the Stone Island Founder’s Archives

Massimo Osti’s collection of jackets, accessories, notebooks and sketches is on show in London

  • Written by Stuart Brumfitt

With a fan base ranging from grime heads to Italian fathers, Stone Island has achieved cult status across the globe. Its founder (and of C.P. Company too), Massimo Osti, passed away almost 11 years ago, but his archive is on display in London this week – for two days only.

As expected, there are the innovative clothes he designed, with their experimental fabrics, awesome logos and military influences, but there are other, more unexpected items from his Bologna-based collection, including sketches, notebooks, inspirations and ash trays. Head down for an amazingly personal insight into the man behind the legendary brands.

Jacket Required Presents The Massimo Osti Archive from 26th -27th January at The Old Truman Brewery, Hanbury Street, London, E1 6QL
